Season 2's Style Evolution

This could well be my favourite season for the events -
these dresses are amazing!

You can see each character's style evolve and grow up a bit in season 2.

Blair's preppy styling becomes less schoolgirl and more college student.
She picks more sophisticated pieces favouring smart cardigans,
pleated hems and elegant gowns.

Skinny jeans become a staple for Serena and her love for boots stays strong.
(Her cleavage and legs are hard-to-miss assets in this season.)

Jenny steers away from Blair's preppy influence and gains her own darker edge.

Vanessa becomes a bit more girlie and introduces some boho into her wardrobe.
The urban feel to her clothing is injected with more colour.

We see some 80s outfits in the "Valley Girls" episode.
I really enjoyed it and it's a shame the pilot wasn't picked up.
In the episode young Lily goes from preppy to punk-rock...

Grown up Lily always keeps it simple but very chic.
Her style exudes class and focuses on signature pieces.
