Thboxes Give-Away!

I am very happy to report that this is my first give-away! I've had a couple of websites approach me before but I simply wasn't interested in what they had to offer. Call me old-fashioned but I like to only promote brands I actually like.

Thboxes is a China-based online retailer that delivers to customers all over the globe. They offer ranges of jewellery, handbags, clothes, accessories and shoes.

In this international give-away you could win a piece of jewellery priced $8 or less. (All of their jewellery is priced under $9 so "$8 or less" barely limits you.) The number of winners will equal 10% of the number of applicants!

Also all participants, yes, ALL participants will receive a 10% discount code. Which means even if you're not a winner, you win.

Here's some of the jewellery you could get your hands on...

Gossip Girl, Season 4

I figured since my last (now most commented!) post was a heavy dose of my style in 2012, I'd do a post with someone else's styling as my first in 2013. Some of you may already be fed up of my Gossip Girl dedications but I am going to keep going until the last season! Now only two more seasons to go...

In previous posts we've looked at...

...Season 1...

...Season 2...

...and Season 3.

Now it's time for Season 4...

Chic Celebs: Kim Kardashian

These days, my life seems to revolve around college, procrastinating and lazing on the sofa with my man.

Not only that but I seem to be in a style rut. Each day I pick the easiest outfit and outfit repeat like crazy! I also don't have any income for fashion purchases. Grrr...

No wonder my blog has been experiencing a serious outfit photo drought!

To get me inspired, I like to, now and again, check out other people's style...

Kim Kardashian

I should tell you now, that I have never watched her reality show thus I know nothing about her apparently "annoying" personality.

I have just seen her in magazines and online...
(Ray J in that sex tape - be still my beating hormones...)

I just think that she's ridiculously beautiful and her style definitely inspires me.

Here are just 10 of her latest outfits (starting from the most recent) and suggestions to emulate her style:

The Red Leather Skirt

Inspired by Halloween

This year, I am not taking part in Halloween :( simply because as a Student, I just couldn't afford Halloween this year!

However, I decided to put my creative Halloween energy to good use.

One thing I hate to do at Halloween is buy a "costume". They normally just look cheap and generic and you rarely use them again!

And so... I've put together outfits using clothes that are out there now. Clothes that can be used again in a non-fictional outfit - yay! :)

Here are my outfit suggestions:

Morticia Addams from The Addams Family
- If you don't have black hair and you don't want to dye your hair then a wig is a must!
Also remember your red lipstick and black eyeliner.

My Blazer, My Bag

It occurred to me that I hadn't taken an outfit photo since July thus when I got home earlier this evening, I knew it was time to call my Mum for some snapping ;)

Guest Post: Fall Fashions and You - Bright Colours

Wondering what to wear this fall? The plethora of fall trends can make it hard to pick and choose just one. No matter what you choose, you're sure to look fantastic if you've got confidence. It's the key to that "effortless" look that so many celebrities pull off with aplomb.

Wondering which trend to wear this autumn? Eye-searing bright colours you see every summer are here to stay this fall. Neon colours are back again for fall in a big way, so stash your earth tones and pick up a fun maxi or a chunky sweater in orange.
